The hot tub was perfect for the weather though! I also loved how everything was labeled so it was super easy to find everything and know where it went after we were done. Would definitely stay again and would recommend for any group or family trips to LP!

  We just stayed at Otter Way for the Ironman in Lake Placid. The house was great and exactly as the photos showed. It was about a mile walk to downtown… read more which was great. We were able to enjoy downtown without having to drive in on a busy weekend in Lake Placid and still return to a quite neighborhood for our downtime. The house was so clean and had everything we needed for our group of 9.

Additionally Michael was such a great host. I have never stayed at an airbnb where the host cared as much as he did that we were enjoying our time and getting exactly what we were hoping for out of the trip.

We only had a little trouble with the tv but after contacting the owner we discovered a cable was loose and problem solved!! The house was very comfortable. The hot tub was a great asset and we hopped in each evening after we got back from shopping, lunching and sightseeing. Hadn’t payed foosball in 20 years so we had a lot of laughs!! We love to return!!

Michael was also extremely responsive (always responded within an hour or so) and everything in the home is extremely well labeled and easy to find. The group of people that came with me for the weekend all individually said how amazing the home was and we will definitely be staying there again. Looking forward to coming back up in the summertime!

PS – the location is also amazing. It’s less than 1 mile from the Olympic Center and the heart of town, but would not recommend walking to town in the winter

The location is perfect – close to both Hannaford and the Main Street restaurant/shopping area, and only 15-20 minutes to Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. They house is very spacious, with four full bedrooms plus a fold out bed, 2 full baths and a powder room, and with so many thoughtful details like having drawers and cabinets labeled with the items inside. The home had everything we needed, including good quality cookware – a rare find! as AirBnB likes to say :-). Michael and Marina were very easy to reach and were responsive to our needs – the housekeeper had forgotten to leave enough towels for our party of 8 – Michael responded immediately to my text and within a couple of hours, the additional towels were delivered. We will definitely stay here again.

Our children ages 5-11 loved the ping pong table and played for hours. The basement area was so perfect for the kids to enjoy. We loved having TVs in every room. The kitchen had more than… read more enough plates, cups, and cutlery. Almost everything was labeled. Bring cooking oil/butter and spices if you plan to cook. The hot tub was amazing during the coldest week in Jan and -6 degrees midday! Towels for the hot tub were nicely tucked in the corner. House is well insulated. Despite the cold, my group was able to bbq with the charcoal grills and enjoy the fire pit outside. The garage was definitely a plus – our cars didn’t freeze overnight. WiFi seemed strong enough but we didn’t speed test since we weren’t working simutaneously. Beds were comfy. Towels and toilet paper were provided. Pack some bath soap and you’re all set 🙂
