  We very liked Michael’s house (very comfortable and cozy )! Walkable distance to Lake Placid Main Street (~15 min.). Hot tub was a great addition during very cold evenings.

The hot tub was amazing during the coldest week in Jan and -6 degrees midday! Towels for the hot tub were nicely tucked in the corner. House is well insulated. Despite the cold, my group was able to bbq with the charcoal grills and enjoy the fire pit outside. The garage was definitely a plus – our cars didn’t freeze overnight. WiFi seemed strong enough but we didn’t speed test since we weren’t working simutaneously. Beds were comfy. Towels and toilet paper were provided. Pack some bath soap and you’re all set 🙂

We only had a little trouble with the tv but after contacting the owner we discovered a cable was loose and problem solved!! The house was very comfortable. The location is perfect – close to both Hannaford and the Main Street restaurant/shopping area, and only 15-20 minutes to Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. They house is very spacious, with four full bedrooms plus a fold out bed, 2 full baths and a powder room, and with so many thoughtful details like having drawers and cabinets labeled with the items inside. The home had everything we needed, including good quality cookware – a rare find! as AirBnB likes to say :-). Michael and Marina were very easy to reach and were responsive to our needs – the housekeeper had forgotten to leave enough towels for our party of 8 – Michael responded immediately to my text and within a couple of hours, the additional towels were delivered. We will definitely stay here again.

The group of people that came with me for the weekend all individually said how amazing the home was and we will definitely be staying there again. PS – the location is also amazing. It’s less than 1 mile from the Olympic Center and the heart of town, but would not recommend walking to town in the winter
