We were able to enjoy downtown without having to drive in on a busy weekend in Lake Placid and still return to a quite neighborhood for our downtime. The house was so clean and had everything we needed for our group of 9.

Additionally Michael was such a great host. I have never stayed at an airbnb where the host cared as much as he did that we were enjoying our time and getting exactly what we were hoping for out of the trip.

Our favorite detail of the house were the clearly labelled light switches and kitchen cabinets/drawers which made settling in super easy. It had literally everything you could need for serving food for a group. Serving platters, a blender, oven pans, etc etc. One note about the coffee maker- bring grounds or beans, it’s not a pod-maker. Perfectly fine for us. Everything is well labeled and the instruction booklet was great- it included reccs for restaurants & activities. The hot tub was a fantastic experience as well. The home is close to everything but still private & serene. Michael & Marina were incredibly welcoming & responsive. The Dove chocolates were a nice touch hehe. We would definitely stay here again.   Our time here was great! We’ve been to Lake Placid a few times and like this house’s close proximity to Main Street and Whiteface Mountain. The kitchen had more than… read more enough plates, cups, and cutlery. Almost everything was labeled. Bring cooking oil/butter and spices if you plan to cook. The hot tub was amazing during the coldest week in Jan and -6 degrees midday! Towels for the hot tub were nicely tucked in the corner. House is well insulated. Despite the cold, my group was able to bbq with the charcoal grills and enjoy the fire pit outside. The garage was definitely a plus – our cars didn’t freeze overnight. WiFi seemed strong enough but we didn’t speed test since we weren’t working simutaneously. Beds were comfy. Towels and toilet paper were provided. Pack some bath soap and you’re all set 🙂
