We were able to enjoy downtown without having to drive in on a busy weekend in Lake Placid and still return to a quite neighborhood for our downtime. The house was so clean and had everything we needed for our group of 9.

Additionally Michael was such a great host. I have never stayed at an airbnb where the host cared as much as he did that we were enjoying our time and getting exactly what we were hoping for out of the trip.

The location is perfect - close to both Hannaford and the Main Street restaurant/shopping area, and only 15-20 minutes to Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. They house is very spacious, with four full bedrooms plus a fold out bed, 2 full baths and a powder room, and with so many thoughtful details like having drawers and cabinets labeled with the items inside. The home had everything we needed, including good quality cookware - a rare find! as AirBnB likes to say :-). Michael and Marina were very easy to reach and were responsive to our needs - the housekeeper had forgotten to leave enough towels for our party of 8 - Michael responded immediately to my text and within a couple of hours, the additional towels were delivered. We will definitely stay here again.
